Church on Ingestre Lifegroups

  • Youth Life Group

Our meetings involve a lot of pop culture references, stories and laughing. We explore scripture by discussing what stands out or is interesting and relevant to our young people, and we talk through how we can apply our biblical learnings to our everyday lives. Youth Life Group is a safe place for our young people to discover and grow in their faith, and the sharing of questions, ideas, and testimonies are always encouraged, as part of this culture. We meet every Wednesday in the Youth Room at 5pm.

  • St Johns Hill Life Group

We meet from the second week to the second to last week of the school term, giving us an intensive 8-week block to study the Word. Discussions centre on how the Bible applies to our lives and how we can practice this application daily. We are a wide range of ages, with a well-rounded diversity of spiritual maturity in our group; this really helps us to explore Scripture from all perspectives. We meet at 7.30pm in Otamatea.

  • City Life Group

Each Tuesday we meet at a different home (so we're all over town), and a different person leads the discussion. Most weeks someone shares a scripture that has been meaningful or a testimony. We usually discuss the passage of scripture from the previous Sunday’s sermon and occasionally have a meal together.

  • Westmere Life Group

Our group is a diverse group of individuals and couples who enjoy good discussions; encouraging and supporting each other as we fellowship and do life together. We are mostly parents with children who have left the nest but invite anyone to come along and join in. We meet every alternate Wednesday at 7.30pm in Westmere.

  • Church on Ingestre Life Group

We gather at church for bible study, fellowship and prayer. We are mainly in the older age bracket, so there are many mature and helpful folk willing to share their Christian experiences. We meet every Wednesday at 10am at Church on Ingestre.

  • Band of Brothers Life Group

We are quite a small group in terms of numbers but with strong connections. We catch up, learn together, support, and hold each other accountable as brothers. Occasionally we also get together for a games night or BBQ. We are a men’s group and the content we focus on is something we decide as a group. We meet every Tuesday at 8:00pm at Church on Ingestre.
