Global Missions
In Jesus’ Great Commission He commands His people to go out and make disciples (Matthew 28:19). We want to do our part in answering Jesus’ call by focusing our local and global outreach in three strategic areas:
Empower the vulnerable
Providing awareness, intervention, rehabilitation, and community care for persons at risk.
Strengthen the Church
Providing training, encouragement, and mentoring for our current and future church leaders.
Raise Up the Next Generation
Reaching and discipling children, youth, and students.
We accomplish this by partnering with church and ministry leaders in our city and around the world, sending short-term teams to work alongside them, and by responding to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs we discover together.
Global Mission Partners
We support six global mission partners who are serving in various countries around the world; some indigenous and others have gone out from NZ. They are each connected to one of our life groups for regular and specific prayer support.
Associate Mission Partners
Our associate mission partner who was born and bred here at Church on Ingestre, is now the New Zealand Operations Director for YWAM Ships Aotearoa, a role that will see their mission extend from New Zealand to remote islands in the Pacific. We are proud to see someone of his generation continuing in the strong missional heritage we have.
